Developmental Volleyball program is designed to teach volleyball in a fun and engaging manner. The fundamentals of each skill will be broken down to learn the proper mechanics of passing, setting, hitting, serving, defense and volleyball specific movements each week. Motor learning, athletic and skills development will be built through fun activities, drills, and competitive game play. Volleyball being the ultimate team sport, these athletes will also learn the benefits of teamwork as they learn to play the game. I can’t wait to introduce your child to the exciting game of volleyball and help them develop a lifelong love of a new sport.
I am the Volleyball Director of Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus where I coach ages 4- adult, at all levels from beginner to elite club players. I have been playing competitive volleyball since I was 12 years old. I received a full scholarship Division 1 to Central Connecticut State University where I set and played right side. I have been coaching for 17 years at the high school, club and developmental levels. I have trained many players who have gone on to play at all three collegiate levels. I am dedicated to, and passionate about, growing the game of volleyball through the art and science of teaching fundamentals and the biomechanics of the game to help build player and team skills in a fun and competitive environment. My goal as a Volleyball coach is to build self-confidence in young athletes to not only help them grow into great volleyball players, but also well-rounded individuals, all while developing a love for the game.
