Fee: $90 plus $35 non refundable materials fee
What is electricity and how does it work? How do electrons make your hair stick to a balloon and how is it similar to lightning? Which materials allow electricity to flow through them and which stop electricity? What is a battery and how can you make one? How do you build a circuit that turns on a light bulb? What are electromagnets and how do they power a blender and even a maglev train?
We will answer all of these questions and others as we experiment with wires, batteries, switches, propellers, motors, buzzers, lights and more. Some projects you will create (and keep!) are: build a doodle bot, make a light-up circuit greeting card, and design your own motorized vehicle.
Payment may be made by cash or check.
