Little Chefs – Kids Can Cook! (Kristin Dovbniak)

Ages: 6-9

Fee: $100 plus $50 non refundable materials fee 


Learn the basics (and beyond) of food and cooking in this interactive, kid-focused cooking class with trained Chef Kris! Kids will hone their basic knife and peeling skills (using safe, plastic serrated chef’s knives), learn kitchen safety, explore new flavors and ingredients, as well as practice measuring, creating unique combinations of ingredients and learning how to make their own meals and snacks.

For families who have taken Little Chefs before, Little Chefs: Kids Can Cook is complete with all new recipes, designed for young kids to make on their own (with just a little help!).

Recipes include:

– Crudite & Dip

– Yogurt & Homemade Granola Parfaits

– Naan Bread Flatbreads

– Homemade Smoothies

– Crispy Zucchini Fries

– Biscuits, Fruit & Whipped Cream

– DIY Nachos

– Mediterranean Chickpea Salad

– Ham & Cheese Croissant Roll-ups

– Chocolate Avocado Pudding ‘Dirt’

Kids will be interacting with ingredients and sampling foods/bringing home samples of food, so please make sure to let Chef Kris know of any food allergies or sensitivities (we can accommodate as much as we can, but can not guarantee zero cross contamination based on the nature of class).

Please note due to the need for kids to sit and pay attention while using knives, peelers and while Chef is cooking with heat, class is designed for kids ages 6-9. Kids must be age 6 by the start of class or ages 4-5 accompanied by a parent.
