Come join Sammy and his friends for all new stories and activities. We will enjoy award winning picture books. Then, find creative ways to express ourselves and enrich our love of literature. We will explore the world of storytelling using super creative activities to help retell or inspire a story. This class offers Storytime with rich literature and a focus on story elements. We will participate in creative writing, interactive games, art projects, costumes, puppets, and more!
Research shows that being able to retell stories increases comprehension skills and understanding of topics presented.
Note: If you took this class in the FALL, there will be all new stories and activities this session. Activities will be modified as needed for the age range and abilities in the class.
