Come explore the magical and wonderful experience of singing and acting in musical theater. We will start with scales and proper breathing and advance to songs and singing together. Theater games will be a part of our acting skills and will include clowning and improv.. Each week we will map our progress and produce together a small presentation that could be a story/song version of a Broadway Show or our own Talent Show that we will perform for an audience at the conclusion of our class. No students are required to perform —only those who wish to-this is a safe environment to learn music, memorizing and having fun!-There is no homework and no previous experience needed. No parent participation is needed but in theatre everyone becomes a helper. Small material fee for hand-outs, props, sets & costumes.

Miss Francine has been teaching voice and performing for over 40 years—Her credits include debut at Lincoln Center in New York City, Paris Opera House, Member of the professional studies program at ACT, a theatre premiere at Columbia University, Voice Studies with Jennie Tourel at Juilliard, and a Parent’s Choice Awards for a Children’s Music Song Series to name a few. Member of AFTRA-SAG & Equity and teaches Voice privately at CreativeKeys Dunedin.
