Do you want to learn about the legal system while improving your arguing (er, negotiating) skills? We will cover the basics of the legal system as well as general speaking skills. Then we’ll jump right into preparing for our own Mock Trial, which will run the last week of class. Students will spend class time preparing opening arguments, questions for the witnesses, and closing arguments. Will you be a prosecutor, a defense attorney, or a witness in our trial? Materials fee includes a printed and bound instructional book with the material covered. Payment is accepted via cash or through Venmo [@hltrow811] or PayPal [hltrow811@gmail.com] as a payment to friends and family only.
